“Three distinct bodies of work, each mobilising a specific medium (sculpture, photography, film) dialogue with one another, interpret one another, interfere with one another, creating a cluster of transversal relationships irreducible to their sum: a polygraphic exhibition is not the simple addiction of three monographic propositions, but a transaction that proceeds from the very disparity of the mediums and the works themselves, provoking a montage effect that echoes the filmmaker Sergei Eisenstein’s theory that the juxtaposition of two images produces not a third image but a concept.
